A European facial is a slower, more deliberate treatment than most American spa facials. It relies on the hands of a trained aesthetician rather than on a machine — thorough cleansing, steam, extended manual extraction, massage and a treatment mask worked through in sequence.

Our five SkinCeuticals facials
Signature Facial — $175. The traditional European facial: deep cleansing, exfoliation and refreshing of the skin. The right first appointment if you have never had a professional facial, or want a baseline before committing to a corrective course. This is also the facial included in our Monthly Facial Membership.
Anti-Aging Facial — $200. Professional-grade exfoliation, potent antioxidants and deep hydration to smooth fine lines, improve firmness and restore radiance. Results build over a course rather than a single visit.
Brightening Facial — $200. An illuminating facial for dullness and discoloration, using vitamin C, gentle exfoliation and corrective serums. This is the treatment for sun damage, post-inflammatory marks and the flatness that follows a long winter.
Calming Facial — $200. A soothing treatment for sensitive and reactive skin. If other facials have left your skin flushed and uncomfortable, this is the one to ask about.
Acne Facial — $300. Decongests pores, reduces excess oil and targets active breakouts with salicylic acid and antibacterial botanicals. Includes extractions. For congested, breakout-prone skin this is the most thorough treatment on our menu.
European facial or Hydrafacial?
They do different jobs, and plenty of our clients alternate between them. A European facial is manual, performed entirely by hand, and works on correcting an underlying skin condition over time with extended manual extraction. Hydrafacial is device-assisted, uses automated vortex extraction, and delivers immediate glow and hydration with no downtime at all.
European facials start at $175 and Hydrafacial at $200. Treatment length differs between services and is shown for each one when you book online. If you have an event this weekend, book a Hydrafacial. If you want your skin measurably different by autumn, start a European facial course.

Where a device-based facial follows a fixed sequence, a European facial is shaped by the aesthetician’s hands and judgement. The extended manual extraction and the facial massage are the two stages a machine-led treatment tends to shorten or skip entirely — and they are the reason this treatment changes the underlying condition of the skin rather than just its surface.

European Facials at A Glance
- Stop retinol one week before, and scrubs or acid exfoliants five days before.
- Limit direct sun for 72 hours. We cannot treat sunburned skin.
- Tell us about any recent injectables, peels or laser treatment so we can sequence properly.
- Arrive without makeup if you can.
- Temporary redness is normal after extraction and usually settles within a few hours.
- Wear SPF daily — freshly exfoliated skin is more light-sensitive.
- Pause retinol and acids for a few days.
- Continue the two or three products your aesthetician recommends. That is what holds the result.
Monthly. For a specific concern such as discoloration or persistent congestion, plan a course of monthly treatments. The Monthly Facial Membership at $100 includes the Signature Facial and is the least expensive way to keep to that rhythm.
